Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Develop error correction protocols and fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures
- Simulate quantum systems using advanced frameworks like Qiskit and Cirq
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum processor performance
- Publish breakthrough research in leading quantum computing journals
- Lead cross-functional projects integrating quantum solutions with classical systems
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to quantum education initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Deep expertise in quantum mechanics, linear algebra, and information theory
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Quipper) and classical languages (Python, C++)
- Experience with quantum computing platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, D-Wave)
- Strong background in complex algorithm design and computational complexity
