Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for practical applications in finance, logistics, and AI
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum circuit performance on superconducting qubits
- Lead research initiatives in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Publish findings in top-tier journals and present at international conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and foster cross-functional innovation
- Develop patentable quantum computing solutions for commercial applications
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum computing research with Qiskit or Cirq
- Expertise in quantum algorithms, quantum information theory, and quantum simulation
- Strong programming skills in Python, C++, and quantum assembly languages
- Proven track record of peer-reviewed publications or open-source contributions
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, or IonQ)
- Ability to translate complex quantum concepts into practical business solutions
