Responsibilities
- Architect quantum algorithms for NISQ-era hardware
- Simulate quantum circuits using Q# and IBM Quantum Experience
- Optimize qubit coherence times in cryogenic environments
- Partner with hardware teams to validate quantum supremacy claims
- Present findings at IEEE Quantum Week and Q2B conferences
- Mentor PhD interns in quantum information theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or Quantum Information
- 3+ years experience with quantum programming frameworks
- Published research in quantum error correction
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and quantum circuit simulation
- Experience with D-Wave or Rigetti quantum processors
- Deep understanding of tensor networks and variational algorithms
- Certification in IBM Quantum Professional Developer
