Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum algorithms for cryptography and optimization
- Architect hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks for enterprise applications
- Secure $5M+ in research grants from government and private sector partners
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature/Science journals with 100+ citation targets
- Mentor PhD-level researchers in quantum error correction and decoherence mitigation
- Collaborate with NASA and DARPA on quantum-resistant satellite communication systems
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 8+ years R&D
- Published 15+ peer-reviewed papers on quantum supremacy or quantum annealing
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum programming frameworks
- Proven track record of securing $3M+ in quantum research funding
- Deep understanding of quantum topology and topological quantum computing
- Experience with cryogenic quantum processor integration and calibration
- Strong background in quantum machine learning applications
