Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation challenges
- Lead a team of 8+ quantum physicists and software engineers
- Secure $2M+ in annual R&D funding through grant proposals and industry partnerships
- Develop quantum security protocols for 2026-era infrastructure
- Collaborate with MIT and Stanford on quantum supremacy projects
- Present findings at global conferences including IEEE Quantum Week
- Drive open-source contributions to quantum computing frameworks
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 5+ years industry experience
- Published record in Nature/Science or equivalent-tier journals
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or proprietary quantum SDKs
- Proven track record of managing $1M+ research budgets
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault tolerance
