Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Lead research teams in developing quantum error correction protocols
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to bridge quantum theory with practical applications
- Publish findings in leading scientific journals and present at global conferences
- Secure research funding through NSF and DOE grant applications
- Mentor PhD researchers and cross-functional AI/quantum integration projects
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Published research in quantum computing or quantum information theory
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq) and classical HPC frameworks
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Track record of securing competitive research grants
- Experience leading interdisciplinary technical teams
- Strong background in machine learning for quantum systems
