Responsibilities
- Architect quantum algorithms for practical 2026 applications in cryptography, materials science, and optimization
- Lead 15-person research team in developing fault-tolerant quantum computing protocols
- Collaborate with MIT and Caltech on quantum error correction frameworks
- Secure $5M+ in government and private sector research grants
- Develop proprietary quantum simulation tools for industrial partners
- Publish 3+ annual papers in Nature/Science journals
- Mentor postdoctoral researchers in quantum machine learning
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 8+ years' experience
- Published research in quantum algorithms or quantum information theory
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum programming frameworks
- Proven track record of securing federal research grants (NSF/DOE)
- Experience leading cross-disciplinary technical teams
