Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Develop quantum software interfaces and debugging tools for hybrid quantum-classical systems
- Lead experimental validation of quantum supremacy claims on multi-qubit processors
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum error correction protocols
- Publish research in Nature/Science journals and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Mentor PhD researchers and drive open-source quantum computing initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (postdoc preferred)
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum error correction codes
- Proficiency with Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum assembly languages
- Track record of peer-reviewed publications in quantum computing
- Experience with superconducting or ion-trap quantum systems
- Strong programming skills in Python/C++ and mathematical optimization
- Deep understanding of quantum entanglement and decoherence mechanisms
