Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for complex optimization and simulation problems
- Lead cross-functional teams to develop quantum-resistant cryptographic protocols
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize quantum error correction techniques
- Publish peer-reviewed research and present findings at international conferences
- Secure federal and private research grants for quantum innovation projects
- Mentor PhD candidates and junior researchers in quantum methodologies

Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years research experience
- Expertise in quantum algorithms (Shor, Grover, VQE) and circuit design
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Strong publication record in Nature/Science/IEEE journals
- Demonstrated experience with quantum hardware integration (superconducting, trapped ions)
