Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for cryptography optimization
- Lead experimental validation of quantum supremacy protocols on 50+ qubit systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to mitigate decoherence in quantum processors
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical frameworks for enterprise applications
- Author peer-reviewed publications and patent novel quantum methodologies
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum information theory
- Secure $2M+ annual research grants from DARPA and NSF
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years experience with quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum systems
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Strong background in machine learning for quantum data analysis
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and high-performance computing frameworks
- Experience with cryogenic quantum hardware interfaces
