Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Lead experimental validation of quantum circuits using our proprietary error-correction frameworks
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical computing architectures for real-world deployment
- Author peer-reviewed research papers and present findings at IEEE Quantum Week and Q2B conferences
- Mentor cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and software developers
- Secure research grants from NSF and DoD quantum initiatives
- Contribute to quantum security protocols for blockchain and AI systems
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years research experience
- Published work in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, PRL) on quantum algorithms or error correction
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and simulation frameworks
- Deep understanding of quantum entanglement, superposition, and decoherence principles
- Experience with cryogenic systems and quantum hardware control interfaces
- Strong background in complex mathematics (linear algebra, group theory, differential equations)
- Track record of securing $500K+ in quantum research funding
- US citizenship required for government contract compliance
