Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization, simulation, and machine learning applications
- Develop quantum error correction protocols to enhance qubit stability and fidelity
- Lead research initiatives in quantum hardware-software co-design
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate theoretical models into practical quantum applications
- Publish high-impact research in peer-reviewed journals and present at international conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to quantum education initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years of quantum research experience
- Deep expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and quantum circuit design
- Proven track record of developing quantum algorithms for real-world applications
- Strong background in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant computing
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (superconducting qubits, trapped ions, photonic systems)
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to work in fast-paced, interdisciplinary environments
