Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for practical applications in finance, healthcare, and logistics
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quantum solutions into existing cloud infrastructure
- Lead experimental validation of quantum supremacy claims using proprietary hardware
- Publish groundbreaking research in peer-reviewed journals and industry conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and drive quantum literacy initiatives across the organization
- Secure and manage partnerships with academic institutions and quantum hardware providers
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years of research experience
- Expertise in quantum error correction, quantum machine learning, and quantum simulation
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#) and high-performance computing
- Track record of publishing in Nature/Science or top-tier quantum conferences
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical concepts into scalable prototypes
- Strong background in cryptography or computational complexity theory
- Experience securing research grants from DARPA, NSF, or equivalent bodies
