Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for cryptography optimization and machine learning applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum hardware-software integration systems
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures
- Secure $5M+ in research grants through NSF and DARPA proposal development
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature Physics and IEEE journals
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information theory
- Drive commercialization of quantum applications with Fortune 100 partners
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science from Tier 1 institution
- 3+ years hands-on experience with IBM Q Experience or Rigetti quantum systems
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological quantum computing
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum circuit optimization frameworks
- Track record of securing federal research grants
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and quantum assembly languages
- Strong background in quantum entanglement and decoherence mitigation
