Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for real-world applications
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype quantum solutions in partnership with NASA, IBM, and MIT
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature/Science journals and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Develop error-correction protocols to achieve fault-tolerant quantum computation
- Mentor PhD candidates in our Quantum Academy accelerator program
- Secure $5M+ in DARPA and NSF grant funding for 2026 quantum initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (postdoc preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with superconducting qubits or ion-trap systems
- Publication record in top-tier quantum computing journals (e.g., Quantum Science and Technology)
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum assembly programming
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Experience securing government research grants
- Patent portfolio in quantum algorithms or hardware design
