Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization problems and machine learning applications
- Develop error correction protocols to advance quantum coherence beyond current industry standards
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum applications for finance, healthcare, and logistics sectors
- Publish groundbreaking research in top-tier journals and present at international quantum computing conferences
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize quantum circuit performance on next-generation processors
- Secure and manage research partnerships with leading academic institutions and government agencies
- Contribute to strategic roadmap for quantum computing deployment by 2026
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years of industry experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and quantum circuit design
- Proven track record of publishing high-impact research in quantum computing or adjacent fields
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction, fault tolerance, and quantum information theory
- Strong background in complex algorithm development and computational complexity analysis
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ) and cloud quantum services
- Ability to translate theoretical concepts into practical quantum applications
