Responsibilities
- Develop novel quantum algorithms for cryptography and optimization problems
- Design error-corrected qubit architectures for fault-tolerant systems
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum-resistant security protocols
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature/Science journals
- Secure $5M+ in DARPA/NIST grants for quantum initiatives
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information theory
- Collaborate with MIT and CERN on quantum-entanglement projects
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics/Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 3+ years with quantum circuit design (Qiskit/Cirq)
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological computing
- Expertise in quantum machine learning frameworks
- Security clearance eligibility (preferred)
- Proficiency in Python/C++ with HPC optimization
