Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Conduct advanced research on qubit coherence times and error correction methodologies
- Collaborate with hardware teams to prototype quantum processors and test new architectures
- Develop quantum machine learning models leveraging hybrid quantum-classical approaches
- Publish high-impact research in peer-reviewed journals and industry conferences
- Lead cross-functional teams in translating theoretical concepts into practical quantum applications
- Secure research grants and patents for novel quantum computing innovations
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related quantum discipline
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Proven expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant computing architectures
- Strong background in quantum mechanics and linear algebra at graduate level
