Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation
- Lead experiments in qubit coherence and error correction at 4K temperatures
- Collaborate with hardware teams to develop scalable quantum processors
- Publish peer-reviewed research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science)
- Secure $1M+ in government grants for quantum computing initiatives
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum computing research experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Publication record in quantum algorithms or hardware
- Familiarity with cryogenic quantum systems
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum mechanics
