Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning applications
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to mitigate quantum decoherence in prototype systems
- Lead cross-functional teams to develop quantum-resistant cybersecurity protocols
- Publish research in top-tier journals and present findings at IEEE Quantum Week
- Secure federal grants (NSF, DARPA) and industry partnerships for quantum initiatives

Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development with real quantum hardware
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum programming frameworks
- Publication record in Nature/Science or equivalent high-impact journals
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
