Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization problems in logistics and drug discovery
- Develop novel quantum error correction codes for scalable quantum processors
- Lead cross-functional R&D projects integrating quantum systems with classical AI frameworks
- Author peer-reviewed publications in Nature Physics and IEEE journals
- Prototype quantum software using Qiskit and Cirq on IBM Quantum and Rigetti systems
- Mentor postdoctoral researchers and drive innovation in quantum-secure communication protocols
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Theoretical Physics, or Computer Science with 3+ years industry research
- Expertise in quantum circuit optimization and tensor network simulations
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and quantum programming languages (Q#, Quil)
- Published research in quantum machine learning or quantum information theory
- Experience with superconducting qubit platforms and quantum annealing systems
- Demonstrated ability to secure $1M+ in quantum computing research grants
