Responsibilities
- Design and execute cutting-edge quantum algorithms for real-world applications in cryptography, AI, and materials science
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum hardware-software integration solutions
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals and present findings at international conferences
- Collaborate with government agencies and Fortune 500 partners on quantum security initiatives
- Drive innovation in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant computing systems
- Develop quantum machine learning models to solve previously intractable computational problems
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to our quantum education initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent industry experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in quantum algorithms or quantum information theory
- Expertise in quantum hardware platforms (superconducting qubits, ion traps, photonic systems)
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and computational complexity
- Proven track record of leading technical projects with measurable impact
- Excellent communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
