Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for cryptography optimization
- Lead experimental validation of quantum error correction protocols
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks for enterprise applications
- Secure $5M+ in government/industry research grants
- Mentor postdoctoral researchers in quantum physics fundamentals
- Publish 2+ peer-reviewed papers annually in top-tier journals
- Collaborate with hardware teams on qubit stability improvements
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (2020-2026 graduates encouraged)
- 3+ years experience with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, or Quil)
- Published research in quantum information theory or topological computing
- Expertise in quantum machine learning frameworks
- Familiarity with cryogenic quantum hardware architectures
- Strong Python/C++ skills with parallel computing experience
