Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for commercial applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in quantum-cryptography integration projects
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Author peer-reviewed publications and patent disclosures
- Collaborate with hardware engineering teams to optimize quantum processor interfaces
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum information theory
- Present findings at industry conferences and academic symposia
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (required)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development experience
- Proficiency in Q#, Qiskit, or Cirq quantum programming frameworks
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological quantum computing
- Demonstrated expertise in quantum annealing and superconducting qubit systems
- Strong background in linear algebra and complex analysis
- Experience with high-performance computing environments (HPC)
