Responsibilities
- Design and develop novel quantum algorithms for complex optimization problems
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to bridge theoretical models with practical quantum processors
- Lead research initiatives in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Publish findings in leading scientific journals and present at international conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and foster a collaborative research environment
- Secure external funding through NSF and DARPA proposals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, etc.)
- Published research in quantum information theory or quantum algorithms
- Deep understanding of quantum mechanics principles and quantum circuit design
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and high-performance computing environments
- Experience with machine learning applications in quantum systems
