Responsibilities

- Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize quantum circuit performance
- Secure and manage multi-million dollar research grants
- Mentor PhD candidates and interns in quantum computing methodologies

Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 5+ years of research experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and simulation frameworks
- Published record in Nature/Science or equivalent quantum computing journals
- Deep understanding of quantum algorithms, complexity theory, and information theory
- Proven ability to secure competitive research funding from NSF, DARPA, or similar bodies
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences
