Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning
- Lead cross-functional R&D teams in prototyping quantum hardware-software interfaces
- Secure $1M+ in government grants and industry partnerships
- Develop error-correction frameworks for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Publish high-impact research in top-tier scientific publications
- Mentor PhD candidates and patent breakthrough quantum methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or Mathematics (postdoc preferred)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum simulators (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological qubits
- Expertise in Python/C++ and quantum assembly languages
- Proven track record of securing NSF/DARPA funding
- Deep understanding of quantum supremacy benchmarks
- Strong background in condensed matter physics or quantum information theory
