Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation challenges

- Develop error-correction protocols to advance quantum coherence beyond 1000-qubit thresholds
- Collaborate with hardware teams to bridge quantum software and physical system integration
- Publish high-impact research in Nature/Science journals and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum information theory and computational complexity
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Published research in quantum error correction or fault-tolerant architectures
- Expertise in quantum algorithm design for NISQ-era devices
- Proficiency in Python/C++ with low-level system optimization skills
- Demonstrated ability to secure competitive research grants (NSF, DARPA, etc.)
