Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Develop error-correction protocols for scalable quantum hardware systems
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to validate quantum processor performance
- Publish high-impact research in peer-reviewed journals and industry conferences
- Lead cross-functional projects integrating quantum solutions with classical ML frameworks
- Secure patents for proprietary quantum methodologies and architectures
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum computing fundamentals and best practices
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related quantum-focused field
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Proven expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Strong publication record in quantum computing or theoretical physics
- Deep understanding of quantum mechanics and linear algebra principles
