Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum error correction protocols for fault-tolerant systems

- Publish groundbreaking research in Nature Physics or Science journals
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum gate operations
- Secure $5M+ in government grants for quantum computing initiatives
- Mentor PhD candidates and postdoctoral researchers
- Present findings at premier conferences like IEEE Quantum Week
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development with superconducting qubits
- Publication record in top-tier quantum computing journals (5+ papers)
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes (surface, color, LDPC)
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum frameworks
- Experience with high-performance computing (HPC) clusters
- Demonstrated ability to secure federal research funding
