Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization problems
- Lead cross-functional teams translating quantum theory into enterprise solutions
- Author groundbreaking publications in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Develop error-correction protocols for quantum coherence systems
- Collaborate with AI/ML teams on hybrid quantum-classical frameworks
- Secure $2M+ in annual research grants from NSF/DARPA
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in quantum algorithm development
- Expertise in quantum error mitigation techniques
- Proficiency in high-performance computing environments
- Strong background in linear algebra and complex analysis
