Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for enterprise-scale applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum-optimized machine learning models
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Publish peer-reviewed research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Secure $5M+ in government/private quantum research grants
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information science
- Partner with AWS/IBM quantum cloud teams to deploy hybrid quantum-classical solutions
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (2018+ graduates)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Published research in quantum algorithm development or quantum error correction
- Expertise in quantum circuit optimization and NISQ device limitations
- Proficiency in high-performance computing (HPC) environments
- Deep understanding of quantum mechanics postulates and entanglement principles
- Track record of translating theoretical concepts into experimental prototypes
