Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning applications
- Lead experimental validation of quantum circuits on superconducting and photonic platforms
- Collaborate with aerospace partners to develop quantum-resistant communication protocols
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature Physics/Science and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Mentor junior researchers and drive open-source quantum software initiatives
- Secure $2M+ in government grants for quantum computing projects
- Develop error-correction frameworks for fault-tolerant quantum systems
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Strong background in linear algebra, complex analysis, and information theory
