Responsibilities

- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum-resistant encryption protocols for 2026 security standards
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals and present findings at IEEE Quantum Week
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize qubit coherence times and error correction systems
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum machine learning frameworks
- Secure $5M+ in research grants from NSF and DARPA for quantum initiatives
- Develop quantum-inspired hybrid computing models for near-term commercial deployment
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 3+ years industry experience
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum error correction or topological qubits
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum circuit optimization frameworks
- Proven track record of translating theoretical quantum models into practical implementations
