Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization problems
- Develop error mitigation protocols for NISQ-era quantum processors
- Collaborate on hybrid quantum-classical machine learning frameworks
- Lead research in quantum cryptography for post-quantum security
- Publish findings in peer-reviewed journals and industry conferences
- Prototype quantum applications in partnership with enterprise clients
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum programming methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related quantum field
- 3+ years experience with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Proficiency in quantum circuit design and simulation tools
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum mechanics
- Publication record in quantum computing or quantum information
- Experience with cloud-based quantum computing platforms (IBM Quantum, AWS Braket)
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical concepts to practical implementations
