Responsibilities
- Develop novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Design and execute quantum circuit architectures on superconducting platforms
- Lead cross-functional teams to translate theoretical models into practical applications
- Publish peer-reviewed research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Secure and manage multi-million dollar research grants from federal and private entities
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to our IP portfolio
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related quantum field with 3+ years postdoc experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Publication record in Nature/Science or equivalent quantum computing journals
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, or Google Sycamore)
- Demonstrated ability to secure federal research funding (NSF, DOE, DARPA)
