Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization, simulation, and cryptography applications
- Develop error correction protocols to stabilize qubit systems in scalable quantum processors
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to translate theoretical models into functional quantum circuits
- Lead research initiatives in quantum machine learning and hybrid quantum-classical systems
- Publish findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at international conferences
- Secure research grants and partnerships with academic institutions and government agencies
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field with 3+ years of quantum research experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and quantum circuit optimization
- Strong background in quantum information theory, quantum error correction, and topological quantum computing
- Proven track record of publishing high-impact research in quantum computing or adjacent fields
- Experience with quantum simulation frameworks and cloud quantum computing platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti)
- Ability to secure and manage complex research budgets and interdisciplinary projects
