Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization, machine learning, and simulation
- Lead cross-functional teams to develop error-corrected quantum computing systems

- Partner with industry leaders to commercialize quantum applications
- Secure $10M+ in research funding through NSF, DoE, and private sector grants
- Mentor PhD candidates and postdoctoral researchers in quantum theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Published record in quantum algorithms or quantum error correction
- Expertise in quantum hardware architectures (superconducting, trapped ions, photonics)
- Proven ability to secure competitive research funding
- Strong background in machine learning and high-performance computing
