Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Lead experimental validation of quantum hardware prototypes using cryogenic systems
- Develop error-correction protocols to achieve fault-tolerant quantum computation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quantum solutions into commercial applications
- Publish groundbreaking research in top-tier journals and conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and drive quantum literacy initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum computing platforms (IBM, Rigetti, or similar)
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum machine learning frameworks
- Publication record in quantum information science or high-impact technical journals
- Proficiency in Python, Qiskit, and quantum simulation tools
- Strong background in linear algebra and statistical mechanics
