Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum-resistant security protocols
- Develop error mitigation techniques for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature/Science journals and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Partner with government agencies on post-quantum cryptography standards
- Mentor PhD candidates through our 2026 Quantum Fellowship Program
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (2020-2026 graduates welcome)
- Published work in top-tier quantum computing conferences
- Proficiency with Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum programming frameworks
- Experience with superconducting qubit systems or trapped-ion platforms
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Strong background in linear algebra and computational complexity
- US citizenship required for government collaboration projects
