Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and cryptography applications
- Develop error-correction frameworks to enhance qubit stability
- Lead cross-functional prototyping teams in quantum hardware-software integration
- Publish peer-reviewed research in top-tier journals and conferences
- Secure $5M+ in quantum computing research grants
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information science
- Partner with NASA and DOD on quantum-resistant security initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development experience
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum programming frameworks
- Publication record in Nature/Science or equivalent journals
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Deep understanding of quantum hardware architectures (superconducting, trapped ions)
- Active TS/SCI clearance preferred
