Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning problems
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures
- Collaborate with hardware teams to mitigate quantum decoherence effects
- Publish research in peer-reviewed journals and present at international quantum conferences
- Secure research grants and partnerships with government agencies (DARPA, NSF)
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum information theory and computational physics

Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or related field (required)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)

- Expertise in linear algebra, probability theory, and quantum mechanics
