Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Lead cross-functional teams to develop error-corrected quantum systems
- Publish groundbreaking research in top-tier journals and conferences
- Collaborate with AI teams to integrate quantum-classical hybrid solutions
- Secure intellectual property through patents and trade secrets
- Mentor junior researchers and foster an innovation-driven culture
- Present findings to C-suite executives and strategic partners
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of hands-on quantum computing research experience
- Expertise in quantum algorithms, error correction, or quantum hardware
- Published research in Nature, Science, or IEEE journals
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and statistical mechanics
- Track record of translating theoretical concepts into practical implementations
- Experience securing research grants or venture funding
