Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization, simulation, and machine learning applications
- Develop error mitigation techniques and quantum error correction protocols for scalable systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to benchmark and optimize quantum processor performance
- Lead research initiatives in quantum cryptography and secure communication protocols
- Publish findings in top-tier journals and present at international quantum computing conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to patent development in quantum technologies
- Partner with industry leaders to identify and solve real-world quantum computing problems
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with quantum computing specialization
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Deep understanding of quantum mechanics principles and quantum information theory
- Proven track record of developing quantum algorithms or error correction methods
- Experience with superconducting qubits, trapped ions, or photonic quantum systems
- Strong analytical skills with ability to model complex quantum systems mathematically
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
