- Design and implement quantum algorithms for machine learning optimization
- Model qubit decoherence in high-temperature superconductors
- Lead quantum error correction protocols for fault-tolerant systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams on cryogenic processor integration
- Publish 2+ peer-reviewed papers annually in top-tier journals
- Secure $1M+ in government and private research grants
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years hands-on experience with superconducting qubits
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum SDKs
- Publication record in Nature/Science or equivalent
- Deep understanding of quantum entanglement and topology
- Expertise in cryogenic engineering below 20mK
- Strong Python/C++ programming with scientific libraries
