Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for complex optimization problems
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum circuits using Qiskit and Cirq
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to integrate quantum processors with classical computing frameworks
- Publish findings in Nature Quantum and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Secure $5M+ in government grants for quantum research initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent industry breakthroughs)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum annealing or gate-based systems
- Expertise in quantum machine learning and variational quantum algorithms
- Publication record in top-tier quantum journals (arXiv:quant-ph preferred)
- Proficiency in Python, Qiskit, and quantum circuit optimization techniques
