Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Develop error mitigation techniques for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Lead cross-functional R&D teams in prototyping next-gen quantum processors
- Publish findings in top-tier journals and present at IEEE/APS conferences
- Secure federal and private research grants for emerging quantum applications
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information science
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit)
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological qubits
- Proficiency in high-performance computing architectures
- Experience securing SBIR/STTR grants preferred
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum information theory
- Clearable federal security clearance eligibility
