Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum-resistant cryptographic systems
- Develop error-correction methodologies for fault-tolerant quantum processors
- Publish peer-reviewed research in Nature/Science journals with 2026 impact targets
- Secure $2M+ in annual DARPA/NASA grants for quantum innovation
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information science
- Translate theoretical models into practical quantum applications
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (2020-2026 graduates preferred)
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum assembly languages
- Published work in top-tier quantum computing conferences
- Proficiency in quantum error correction codes (surface, LDPC)
- Experience with superconducting or trapped-ion quantum systems
- Strong Python/C++ programming with quantum simulation frameworks
