Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Develop 5-year quantum adoption roadmaps for enterprise clients
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and business analysts
- Secure partnerships with quantum hardware providers (IBM, Google, Rigetti)
- Present quantum solutions to C-suite executives and government bodies
- Drive quantum literacy initiatives across the organization
- Monitor quantum security threats and develop mitigation protocols
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing research or commercial deployment
- Proven track record of publishing in Nature/Science or top-tier conferences
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Experience with quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Strong background in cryptography or optimization algorithms
- Exceptional communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
