- Design fault-tolerant quantum networks spanning metropolitan data centers
- Lead implementation of quantum-safe encryption protocols across global infrastructure
- Develop predictive maintenance algorithms for quantum processors using AI/ML
- Coordinate with hardware teams to optimize cryogenic control systems
- Create disaster recovery protocols for quantum state preservation
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum computing best practices
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years designing high-performance distributed systems at petabyte scale
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes and topological qubits
- Proficiency with Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum circuit optimization
- Published research in quantum computing or related fields
- Certification in AWS/Azure quantum services or equivalent
- Experience with low-latency networking for quantum-classical interfaces
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical roadmaps for emerging technologies
